About the Hackathon
Why SDIET runs an internal round, and who it's built for.
SDIET's approach to education has always been holistic — pairing technical rigour with real-world thinking. This internal hackathon is where that philosophy gets tested: our CSE and ME students bring the engineering muscle, our BCA and BBA students bring strategy, market sense and storytelling, and together they compete for a shot at representing SDIET at the SIH 2026 national grand finale.
CSE and ME students get to turn Software and Hardware problem statements into working prototypes, backed by SDIET's labs, workshops and faculty mentors.
BCA and BBA students shape the business model, market fit and pitch — the difference between a clever prototype and a jury-winning solution.
The team that wins SDIET's internal round gets uploaded by our College SPOC to compete at the SIH 2026 national Grand Finale.
